AN ORDINANCE
Authorizing the Sale of Certain of Camera Equipment
WHEREAS, the City of Evanston is desirous ui disposing certain
personalty consisting of fifty-three (53) items of camera equipment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of .Evanston finds that the
retention of such personalty is no longer required, useful or in the best
interests of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to offer said personalty to wit:
One Graflex Super D 4 x 5.camera with Wollensack lens No. 245812
One Deardoff View camera 5 x 7 with Bausch Laumb lens No. 1845480
One Brown Leather Case to accomodate the aforesaid Deardoff camera
Two extra lenses useable with the aforesaid Deardoff camera
Eight cut film holders
Three 4 x 5 Graflex cameras (one camera minus lens) (no serial numbers
available)
One transformer model 395 30 watts
One Hanovia ultra violet light
Eleven 5 x 7 developing hangers
Twenty-five 8 x 10 developing hangers
for sale to'the highest bidder by sealed bid submitted to the office of the
City Manager. The City Manager shall have the right to reject any and all
bids submitted if he finds that acceptance of any bid would be contrary to
the best interests of the City. The City Manager is further directed to

cause notice of the sale of such personalty to be published in a newspaper

of general circulation in the City of Evanston at least one and not less than
ten days prior to the acceptance of such bids.
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
law.
