HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCES-1975-024-O-75t Amended 3-17-75 24-0-75 E AN ORDINANCE i Amending Chapter 4 of the Code of the City of Evanston, 1957, as Amended, Relating to Alcoholic Liquor Dealers i BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: f SECTION 1: That Section 4-402(3) of the Code of the City of Evanston, j 1957, as amended, is hereby further amended to read as fol- lows: "(3) Class C Licenses which shall authorize the retail sale, in restaur- ants only, of alcoholic liquor for consumption on the premises where sold. No such license shall be granted to or retained by any establish- ! ment in which the facilities for food preparation and service are not primarily those of a restaurant, as defined in this ordinance. Alcoholic, liquor may be sold in restaurants holding Class C Licenses only during i the period when their patrons are offered a complete meal. The annual { fee for such license shall be $1,500. Only fifteen such licenses shall 1 be in force at any one time." SECTION 2: That Section 4-402(4) of the Code of the City of Evanston, � 0 1957, as amended, is further amended to read as follows: "(4) Class D Licenses which shall duplicate Class C Licenses in all re- gards except that beer and/or wine only may be served. The annual fee for such license shall be $1,500. Only four such licenses shall be in force at any one time. It shall be unlawful for any person licensed hereunder to sell alcoholic liquor at a bar defined in Section 4-101 of i E this ordinance, except to persons attending a reception or party not open to the public." SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
