'. ,; t `,.,,.;h"a ��",,' , Yn•Mtn," w..',;;, '�£:!•..,1;'fl 97-0-75 AN ORDINANCE Authorizing the Sale of Four Items of Automotive Equipment WHEREAS, the City of Evanston is desirous of disposing of certain property consisting of four (4) items of automotive equipment; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Evanston finds that the retention of such personalty is no longer required, useful or in the best interests of the City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to offer said personalty to wit: One Seagraves Pumper 1958 Serial No. K2331 One Dodge Station Wagon 1965 Serial- No. 951-313064 One Jeep 1962 Serial No. 57'748-21890 One'Jeep 1967 Serial No. 8405-33867 for sale to the highest bidder by sealed bid submitted to the office of the City Manager. The City Manager shall have the right to reject any and all bids submitted if he finds that acceptance of any bid would be contrary to the best interests of the City. The City Manager is further directed to cause notice of -the sale of such personalty to be published in the newspaper general circulation, at least once not less than ten (10) days prior to the acceptance of such bids.
