AN ORDINANCE
Repealing Ordinance 54-0-73
j BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK
! COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance 54-0-73 granting variations from the control:
over use lot area, floor area ratio, and yard regulations
of the Evanston Zoning Ordinance, adopted November 21, 1960, as amended,
insofar as they pertain to the property in the City of Evanston located at
1228-1/2 to 1230 Sherman Avenue and legally described as:
Parcel 1: The west 39.91 feet of that part of the north 40 feet
of Lot 6 which lies east of the east line of alley and said east
line of alley produced south across Lot 6 (except that part, if
any, in the south 10 feet of said lot measured on the west line
thereof) in resubdivision of Lot 6 and that part of Lots 1 to 5
lying east of the west 24.2 feet thereof in Block 1 in Huse's
Addition`to Evanston in the northeast quarter of_the northwest
quarter of Section 19, Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the
Third Principal Meridian; also
Parcel 2: The west 56 feet of Lot 5 which lies east of the alley
in the resubdivision of Lot 6 and that part of Lots l to 5 lying
east of the west 24.2 feet thereof in Block 1 in Huse's Addition
to Evanston in the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter of
Section 19, Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
Parcel 3: The North 47 feet of Lot 5 (except the west 56 feet)
in resubdivision of Lot 6 and that part of Lots 1 to 5 lying
;j east of the west 24-2/10 feet of Block 1 in 0. Huse's.Addition
{ to Evanston in the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter of
Section 19, Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the Third
(� Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois;
to permit separate ownership of the aforementioned Parcel 1 from the adjacent
Parcels 2 and 3, and to permit the continued use of the aforementioned Parcel
it 2 as a commercial parking lot subject to the condition that the commercial
parking lot shall be brought into conformity with the off-street parking
regulations regarding screening, drainage, surfacing, and wheel stops is
hereby repealed.
! SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval in the manner provided by
