Granting the Application of the Presbyterian Home
for a Special Use to Allow Operation of an Adult
Day Care Program at 3200 Grant Street
• WHEREAS, on May 20, 1975, the Zoning Board of Appeals conducted a
public hearing upon the application of the Presbyterian Home for a special
use to permit operation of an adult day care program on the premises located
at 3200 Grant Street, Evanston, Illinois, in an R5 General Residence District,
said public hearing.having been conducted pursuant to notice and publication
thereof as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that such relief
be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the'City Council of the City of
Evanston, Cook County, Illinois:
SECTION 1: That the application of the Presbyterian Home for a special
use to allow operation of an adult day care program on
the property located at 3200 Grant Street, Evanston, Illinois, and legally
• described as:
Lots 1 to 10 inclusive in Block 5 and Lots 1 to 11 inclusive in
Block 6 in the Highlands Evanston Lincolnwood First Addition,
being a Subdivision of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter (except the East 20 acres thereof) of Section 11, Township
41 North, Range 13 East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook
County, Illinois,
and
The West Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of
Section 11, Township 41 North, Range 13, East of the Third Principal
Meridian in Cook County, Illinois (except parts dedicated for street
purposes),
and
The East 20 acres of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter
of Section 11, Township 41 North, Range 13, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, all in Cook County, Illinois (except parts
dedicated for street purposes),
is hereby granted subject to compliance with all other provisions of the
Zoning Ordinance, other applicable laws and the condition that no more than

eighty (80) participants in said program be present on the premises at any i
one time.
SECTION 2: The Director of Inspections and Permits is hereby ordered
and directed to grant such permits as shall be required
to effectuate provisions of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval, and publication in the
manner provided by law.
