AN ORDINANCE
Granting a Special Use Permit to Allow
• �' Expansion of the Existing Automobile j
f{ Parking Lot onto the Subject Property
Located at 1219 Leon Place

WHEREAS, on April 15, 1975, the Zoning Board of Appeals conducted
as public hearing upon the application of G & S Mortgage Company as sole
Slbeneficiary under National Bank of Albany Park, Trust No. 11-1040, as owner,
land American Hospital Supply Corporation as prospective purchaser for variationsi
(from the off-street parking and yard requirements of the Evanston Zoning Ordi- {
<'nance, adopted November 21, 1960, as they apply to the property located at

0 219 Leon Place, Evanston, Illinois, and for a Special Use to allow expansion E

t;of the existing automobile parking lot which is adjacent to the East onto the
i
;subject property located at the aforesaid 1219 Leon Place, located in an R5 fII
i
;General Residence District, said public hearing having been conducted pursuant
;to notice and publication thereof as provided by law; and
WHEREAS., the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that such relief
•be granted; and

! WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the evidence presented in support
t! i
is
tof.the variation was insufficient; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the evidence submitted in favor
_of the Special Use was such as to justify its issuance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
;Evanston, Cook County, Illinois:

SECTION 1: That the application of G & S Mortgage Company as sole
