Home My WebLink AboutORDINANCES-2018-093-O-188/8/2018 93-0-18 AN ORDINANCE Amending City Code Section 10-11-10, Schedule X, "Limited Parking," to Add Schedule X (0) Saturday Special Event Parking Pilot Program NOW BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, THAT: SECTION 1: Section 10-11-10, Schedule X, "Limited Parking" of the Evanston City Code of 2012, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding the following: Schedule X (0): Saturday Special Event Parkinq Pilot Proqram at a dailv rate of $40 from four (4) hours before the start of the event to two (2) hours after the event starts in the followinq area: Exceptions: A vehicle belonging to a residential address and reqistered with the Citv within the Pilot Program area. Lot 54 West side of Popular Avenue from the dead end south of Colfax Street to the south of Livingston Street, commonly known as Citv Lot 54. SECTION 2: The findings and recitals contained herein are declared to be prima facie evidence of the law of the City and shall be received in evidence as provided by the Illinois Compiled Statutes and the courts of the State of Illinois. 93-0-18 SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4: This Ordinance 93-0-18 shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law. This Ordinance 93-0-18 shall sunset on December 8, 2018. SECTIONS: If any provision of this Ordinance 93-0-18 or application thereof to any person or circumstance is held unconstitutional or otherwise invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of this Ordinance 93-0-18 that can be given effect without the invalid application or provision, and each invalid application of this Ordinance 93-0-18 is severable.
