Morton October 20, 2003 Alderman Jean -Baptiste Alderman Bernstein Alderman Moran At the call of Mayor Morton, a SPECIAL MEETING of the City Council was held October 20, 2003 in the Aldermanic Library starting at 5:43 p.m. for the purpose of convening an executive session to discuss real estate matters and litigation. Alderman Jean -Baptiste moved that City Council convene into executive session to discuss matters of real estate and litigation pursuant to 5 ILCS Section 120/2 (c ) (5) (6) and (7). Seconded by Alderman Feldman. (5) The purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body, including meetings held for the purpose of discussing whether a particular parcel should be acquired. (6) The setting of a price for sale or lease of property owned by the public body. (11) Litigation, when an action against, affecting or on behalf of the particular public body has been filed and is pending before a court or administrative tribunal, or when the public body finds that an action is probable or imminent, in which case the basis for the finding shall be recorded and entered into the minutes of the closed meeting. Roll call. Voting aye — Tisdahl, Rainey, Feldman, Jean -Baptiste, Bernstein, Kent, Moran. Voting nay — none. Motion carried. (7-0) There being no further business to come before Council, Mayor Morton asked for a motion to adjourn. The Council so moved at 7:13 p.m. Mary P. Morris, City Clerk
