HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS-2010-065-R-10• 65-11-10 11 /17/2010 A RESOLUTION Authorizing the City Manager to Negotiate and Execute a Contract for the Purchase of Real Property Located at 629-31 Howard Street in Evanston, Illinois NOW BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to negotiate all necessary terms, as he may determine to be in the best interests of the City, and which shall be approved as to form by the Corporation Counsel, of a contract for the purchase of real property, legally described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part hereof, commonly known as 629-31 • Howard Street, Evanston, Illinois (the "Subject Property") from Albert Barrett, and execute said contract SECTION 2: That the purchase price for the Subject Property shall not exceed two hundred thirty-seven thousand, six hundred fifty dollars ($237,650.00). SECTION 3: That this Resolution 65-R-10 shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law. Eliz eth B.
