A Resolution
Authorizing! Acceptance of a Donation to
the Evanston Human Relations Commission's
Holiday Fund From American Legion, Post 42
WHEREAS, the American Legion, Post 42 hosts an Annual Pancake Breakfast; and
WHEREAS, the American Legion, Post 42 hosted its 14th Annual Pancake
Breakfast on October 28, 2000; and
WHEREAS, the American Legion, Post 42 wishes to donate the proceeds from its
14th Annual Pancake Breakfast to the Holiday Fund operated by the Evanston Human
Relations Commission. for the purpose of providing toys to needy families in Evanston,
• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Evanston hereby gratefully accepts
the donation from the American Legion, Post 42 to the Evanston Human Relations
Commission's Holiday Fund for the purpose of providing toys to needy Evanston families.
SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its passage and approval in the manner provided by,aw. _
