A RESOLUTION
• Amending the 1990, 1992, 1994 and 1995
Community Development Block Grant Programs
and Authorizing the Reallocation of Unexpended
Funds from those Program Years
WHEREAS, The Evanston City Council with passage of City Resolutions 4-R-90, 2-R-
92, 4-R-94 and 10-R-95, did approve applications for Community Development Block Grant
Entitlement funds and did direct the City Manager to file said applications with the United States
Department of Housing and Urban Development; and
WHEREAS, the City of Evanston's applications were approved by said United States
Department; and
WHEREAS, unexpended funds are available after implementation of certain Community
Development Block Grant program activities; and
WHEREAS, reallocation of said funds would require that the City of Evanston's previous
applications be revised; and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Community Development Act Committee did hold a Public
Meeting on November 14, 1995 to hear public opinion on said reallocations according .to the
Community Development Citizen Participation Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Evanston,
Cook County, Illinois:
SECTION 1: That the City's 1990, 1992, 1994 and 1995 applications for Community
Development Block Grant program activities are hereby amended and the following reallocations
• to the 1996-97 Program Year are authorized:
SECTION II: That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
