A RESOLUTION
Authorizing the City Manager to Execute an
Extension to Lease Agreement Between
The North Shore Hotel, Ltd., Partnership, Irmco Properties
And Management Corp., as landlord and the
City of Evanston as Tenant at
1629 Chicago Avenue, Evanston, Illinois
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK
COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to sign, and
the City Clerk hereby authorized and directed to attest on behalf of the City of Evanston,
• an extension to Lease Agreement dated March 13, 2001 between the North Shore Hotel
Ltd. Partnership, Irmco Properties and Management Corp. as Landlord, and the City of
Evanston, as Tenant, for Occupancy of Premises at 1629 Chicago Avenue, Evanston,
Illinois 60201. Such lease extension shall be in substantial conformity with the lease
agreement marked as Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
SECTION 2: That City Manager is authorized to negotiate any additional
terms and conditions deemed to be in the public interest.
SECTION 3: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.

EXTENSION OF STORE LEASE AGREEMENT
ADDENDUM TO LEASE AGREEMENT DATED 3/13/01 BETWEEN THE NORTH
SHORE HOTEL LTD. PARTNERSHIP, IRMCO PROPERTIES & MANAGEMENT
CORP., AS LANDLORD, AND THE CITY OF EVANSTON, AS TENANT, FOR
OCCUPANCY OF PREMISES AT 1629 CHICAGO AVENUE, EVANSTON, ILLINOIS,
60201.
In consideration of the following mutual promises of the parties hereto, it is hereby
agreed by and between the North Shore Ltd. Partnership, Irmco Properties &
Management Corp. and the City of Evanston that the lease agreement dated March
13,2001 regarding the following premises:
1629 Chicago Avenue, Evanston, Illinois 60201
situated in the City of Evanston, County of Cook and State of Illinois, for the term ending
April 30, 2002 is hereby amended by extending the term of the agreement for one
month to terminate on May 31, 2002 at a monthly fee of $14,337.00, payable in
advance on the first day of the month of the extended period, at the office of the
Landlord.
It is initially understood between the parties that this is an extension of the existing lease
agreement. It is not a month -to -month agreement and Landlord is under no obligation
to extend this agreement beyond the date specifically set forth above.
It is further agreed that all of the terms and provisions of the lease agreement shall
remain in full force and effect during the extended period except for those which are
specifically amended by this extension agreement.
