A RESOLUTION
Authorizing the Grant of a
License Agreement to TR Sherman Partners, L.P.
Allowing Sheeting to Remain at
1415 Sherman Avenue
WHEREAS, TR Sherman Partners, L.P. is the owner of the property at 1415
Sherman Avenue, Evanston, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, the Licensee requests permission to keep in place earth retention
sheeting extending eight inches (8") on to public property and installed at 1415 Sherman,
idescribed as follows:
PARCEL 1:
A part of Lots 11 through 13, both inclusive in Lakeside Subdivision of Block 30
in Village of Evanston, and a part of Sherman Avenue adjoining the South 10.00
feet of Lot 14, in Lakeside Subdivision of Block 30, in Village of Evanston, in
Section 18, Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the Third Principal Meridian,
in Cook County, Illinois, described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest
Corner of Said Lot 13; thence South 11 Degrees 31 Minutes 34 Seconds East
along the Easterly Line of Sherman Avenue, as now located, a distance of 112.22
feet to a point in the South Line of the North 10.00 feet of Said Lot 11; thence
South 89 Degrees 52 Minutes 40 Seconds West a distance of 0.66 feet to a point;
thence North 11 Degrees 31 Minutes 34 Seconds West a distance of 112.15 feet
to a point; thence North 00 Degrees 00 Minutes 00 Seconds East a distance of
10.06 feet to a point in the West Line of Said Lot 14; thence South 89 Degrees
52 Minutes 40 Seconds a distance of 0.65 feet to a point; thence South 00
Degrees 00 Minutes 00 Seconds West along Said West Line a distance of 10.00
feet to a point of beginning, all from 3.0 feet below surface elevation to 25:0 feet
below surface elevation.

PARCEL 2: •
A part of a Public Alley adjoining the North 10.00 feet of Lot 11, and all of Lots
12 and 13, and the South 10.00 feet of Lot 14, taken as a tract on the East, in
Lakeside Subdivision of Block 30, in Village of Evanston, in Section 18,
Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook
County, Illinois, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the
Northeast Corner of Said Lot 13; thence North 00 Degrees 00 Minutes 00
Seconds East along the East Line of Said Lot 14, a distance of 10.00 feet to a
point; thence South 89 Degrees 52 Minutes 40 Seconds East a distance of 0.70
feet to a point; thence South 00 Degrees 00 Minutes 00 Seconds West a distance
of 120.00 feet to a point; thence South 89 Degrees 52 Minutes 40 Seconds West
a distance of 0.70 feet to a point in the East Line of Said Lot 11; thence North 00
Degrees 00 Minutes 00 Seconds East along the East Line of Lots 11, 12 and 13 a
distance of 110.00 feet to the point of beginning, all from 3.0 feet below surface
elevation to 25.0 feet below surface elevation.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Evanston finds and determines that the
best interests of the City and its residents would be served by the grant of a license
agreement to allow the aforesaid sheeting to remain, i
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to sign,
and the City Clerk hereby authorized and directed to attest on behalf of the City of
Evanston, a License Agreement in substantial conformity with that attached hereto as
Exhibit 1 and made a part hereof, between the City, as Licensor, and TR Sherman Partners,
L.P. as Licensee, providing for Licensee's sheeting to remain in place after construction of
the new structure at 1415 Sherman Avenue.
