Home My WebLink AboutRESOLUTIONS-1997-024-R-97a 24-R-97 A RESOLUTION Canvassing the Results of the Consolidated Municipal Election held on April 1, 1997, and Declaring the Results of Said Election WHEREAS, on the First day of April, 1997, a Consolidated Election was held in and for the City of Evanston, Cook County, Illinois, for the purpose of electing a Mayor, a City Clerk, and one Alderman • for each Ward, each to serve as full four (4) year term; and WHEREAS, on the First day of April, 1997, a Consolidated Election was held in and for the Township of Evanston, Cook County, Illinois for the purpose of electing a Supervisor and a Assessor, and each to serve a full four (4) year term; and • WHEREAS, said Consolidated Election was regularly called in the manner provided by law; and WHEREAS, the official Canvassing Board consisting of the Mayor, the City Clerk and the First Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Evanston, and the Town Supervisor, Town Assessor and Town Clerk for the Town of the City of Evanston, find from the returns of said Consolidated Election that the following votes were cast for the candidates indicated: REPORT OF CANVASSING BOARD TO THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, ILLINOIS: The undersigned, having been duly notified by City Clerk Kirsten F. Davis, to canvass the vote in the City election held at the Consolidated Election on April 1, 1997, for the purpose of electing City officials for the City of Evanston and reports that it has canvassed the vote with respect to said election and reports the results as follows: (See Exhibit A ) 04/08/97 11:20 AM Consolidated Election -
